Vortal began as me experimenting with deep learning methods with the goal of converting photos to sketches. But I found that so much more could be done. Now I’ve created an app with many filters capable of creating beautiful photographs. I’d be very pleased to see the world through pictures captured by my Vortal app users.

The app isn’t like most camera filter apps. When you snap a picture, the data goes right through the selected filter, which involves your phone doing quite a lot of calculations, and then the filtered image is saved to the phone and is ready for uploading, sharing, or whatever it is you like to do with pictures. I quite enjoy it.
